To be real with you, my biggest mistake was tryna be that cliche “good” boyfriend instead of just being 100% myself. It was mad unhealthy and didn’t make me happy. You can be perfect and it still won’t matter. Love how love comes to you naturally. If it aint for you, don’t force it.
Don’t get caught up in society’s idea of what a “good man” is. Also, don’t get caught up in the idea that you need to be in a relationship. Idc how much you love somebody or want to be with them, put yourself first. Life is short. Enjoy it while you’re here.
Most importantly, treat people how you wanna be treated. People struggle with this for whatever weird reason and it’s very very simple.
When you really love and care about somebody, that love and care comes naturally. If its exhausting, dead it. It should be effortless and enjoyable. There’s ups and downs but it’s all about communication and considering one anothers feelings.
